Phil Blacker

Phil has worked for DLI TV and Radio Sport since 2010. He’s covered tennis, snooker and darts and also the Great British Dog Walk - Hearing Dogs for Deaf people. Phil is mainly a TV and radio football commentator - over 100 games a year in the UK and world-wide.

In over 20 years he's covered two World Cups, Champions League and FA Cup Finals, world heavyweight boxing in Las Vegas, Ashes Test matches, Wimbledon, the Rugby World Cup and the Epsom Derby. He also won a BBC Young Commentator of the Year competition while still at school.

Phil is married to Claire; dad to Jessica; and is a long suffering York City supporter!
